Achievements and Expectations

As stated before in previous blog post, I have been studying computing course at Islington college as following my dream. As a computing student I have expected many things to learn and try to connect my achievement of school and +2 life with my bachelor life.

During my schooling life and +2 life I got no chance of studying any programming language. I studied account subject in my school life, which may be useful in my bachelor life during the study of e-commerce and during building any other accounting software. Later I gained knowledge about computer which interested me on computing course. Although I was just a ordinary kid and had not much interest on sports, I got some prizes for giving speech in front of assembly line. This experience will be helpful during my presentations .As I studied science faculty in my +2 life, this experience may not be helpful in my bachelor life except for my math solving experience.

As I am studying computing course at Islington college,I have some expectations from Islington college and from computing course. I expect to gain knowledge of programming language because stated above I have no knowledge of programming. Not only programming language I want to learn some good presentation skills as it is useful in final year project. I am expecting to learn team work skills for a project and handling a project as for my life as a software engineer or a programmer I must have some skills of team work. I want to learn some problem solving skills for IT related problems as to be a successful IT-professional in future and also I expect to learn some knowledge about making a software as my path for a future is to be a software developer.

Even though I don't have much of achievements and my expectations are high,I want to move on the path of dream and become a successful in my life.

About my dreams

I am a simple boy born in kalanki .I passed my SLC level from bright future school and passed my +2 level from LA college . I always had some dreams of becoming great person in life i.e. to become popular and to earn some money of course. My family also supported me on this dreams of mine ask me to do right thing to become a great person which I want to be in my life.

Some of my dreams were a little odd in childhood like being a superhero or a model. But those odd career dreams gradually overcame by other nice career choices .I had a dream of being a doctor in 5th grade ,which changed to be an civil engineer in 10th grade and again changed to computer engineering in 12th grade and at last after 12th grade I decided to study IT .After i decided to study IT in i thought about going to USA and study there but my parents asked me to study in Nepal. So i visited many colleges situated in Kathmandu. After visiting many colleges in decided to study IT course in Islington college.

There are many reasons to study IT in Islington college. the IT courses offered by Islington college has more field than engineering which is great. This course has more earning areas than other courses like engineering. This IT course completes in less time i.e. three yrs where as computer engineering completes in four years. Islington college offers international degree which has more value in international market. Islington college has more academic environment than other colleges I visited with enough practice labs for the courses.
